These bags have been fun to make and collecting compliments. Please see my YouTube video for the easy process.
I took a nice long walk today to enjoy the early signs of spring.
There was this strung faux pearl necklace that just begged for a makeover with 20 gauge #parawire.
Briolettes are easy to wrap and make beautiful earrings. I made this collection for friends attending a birthday party.
This is the first time I tried stringing Royal Icing. It was fun once I got into it. I used a Masters bag with a small slit cut in the bottom. At the right consistency the icing strings from one place to another. Dots are easy to make too.
I made a couple of pairs of earrings tonight using the beautiful Swarovski briolette crystals that just arrived.
I have been having some fun with baby booties using a tutorial by Maki on Etsy. The pattern calls for 2 strands of cotton, but it worked out well with worsted yarn (Caron Simply Soft). I used a 3.5 hook for the pink and white and 3 for the peaches and cream.
